Surprise Engagement Photo Session
Michelle + Brian planned a couples shoot requesting the backdrop include downtown Birmingham and Morris Avenue. The couples shoot was suggested by Brian, he wanted to propse to Michelle and have that special moment documented. Brian had even selected a beautiful engagement ring for Michelle which was secretly hidden in his pocket. After photographing multiple city scenes surrounding downtown, we ended on Morris Avenue. After what I thought was our wrap, I asked the couple, “Are there any other photos you had in mind?” Brian pointed to a beautiful lamp post on Morris Avenue and replied, “Yes, we really like this background for one last shot.” He then lowers down to one knee, pulling out a ring with the biggest compliment of all, “Will you spend the rest of your life with me?”
See the visual story of this special moment in the below photos. It was an honor to be a part of their love story and to know these photographs will be treasured by themselves, their children and grandchildren. It will be their first family heirloom. What do you want to remember?
